Liberty Patches LLC is a custom patch manufacturer based in New York, New York. We manufacture in-house across four US production houses, which is the fact most of this page follows from: it is why we can take an order for one patch, why quality control happens where the work happens, and why we can say where your patches were made.

WHAT WE SET OUT TO DO
We built this around a simple idea: that a person who needs one patch should be able to buy one, and get the same proof, the same inspection and the same attention as someone ordering ten thousand.
There is no minimum. Small runs cost more per piece, because the setup work is identical either way, and that is the only difference between them. A single patch goes through the same construction review, the same digital proof, the same first-piece approval and the same inspection as a run of thousands.
What we make is nine constructions, eight backings, and the adjacent products that go with them: pins, keychains, lanyards, woven labels, and supplied and decorated caps, shirts and hoodies. What we will not do is claim a capability we do not have. If you ask for something outside what we make, we will say so rather than take the order and improvise.
How the Work Is Checked
Two stages, and the first one is the one that matters. The first piece off any run is compared against your approved sample before the rest are made, which catches a setup problem while it is still one patch rather than five hundred. Then every piece is inspected individually before it is packed. Per-piece inspection is slower than batch sampling and it is the reason a run does not arrive with three bad ones in the middle of it.
What We Can Actually Make
Approximately 22 embroidery heads and around 10,000 patches a week across the four facilities. That is operational capacity rather than a guaranteed weekly allocation, and it is worth stating as a number because nobody else in this category publishes one at all. If you have a volume that sounds like it might test it, say so at quote stage and we will tell you honestly rather than discovering it mid-run.

Precision Digitizing
Great patches start with great files. Our expert digitizers manually plot every stitch path, optimizing underlay, pull compensation, and thread angles. We never rely on auto-tracing software.
Physical Prototyping
We don't just send you a digital mock-up and hope for the best. For production runs, we manufacture a real, physical sample and send you high-resolution optical scans for approval before full production.

HOW EVERY PIECE IS CHECKED
Every custom patch we manufacture is rigorously inspected. We guarantee the structural integrity, color accuracy, and durability of our products.
Materials matched to the build
Materials are chosen for what the construction needs rather than described as premium. Twill and thread for stitched work, PVC or silicone for molded, hide or leatherette for leather. If a material has a limitation, we tell you about it on the proof.
Coverage and density decided, not defaulted
In stitched work, how much of the base is covered and how closely the stitches sit are decisions made during digitizing against your design and your fabric. They are what separate a patch that looks intentional from one that looks approximate.
First piece, then every piece
The first piece off a run is approved before the rest continues. Every piece is inspected afterward against the approved proof. Two checks, one at the start and one across the whole run.
Packed to arrive intact
Finished patches are packed for transit and handed to UPS or FedEx, with tracking sent by email or SMS where available. US shipping is free and worldwide shipping is quoted.
