A hoodie is the largest canvas in supplied apparel. The back panel takes decoration nothing else in this range can carry, the fabric is heavy enough to hold weight without distorting, and the front gives you a chest placement and often a sleeve as well. If you have been constrained by cap fronts and shirt chests, this is where that stops.
Weight is what makes it work and it is also the thing to plan around. Fleece carries a large embroidered panel or a chenille piece without sagging, which a lightweight shirt does not. That same weight means the finished garment is heavier than people expect once a full back panel is on it, so if the hoodie is being shipped in quantity, factor that in.
We supply the garment and decorate it. If you already have the hoodies, order the patches on their own instead. What we confirm for your order rather than publish is the garment itself: which hoodies are available, in what weights, colors and sizes. Decoration is carried out in-house across our four US production houses; the blanks are sourced. Send the size assortment and the placements you want.

vs. Custom shirts
Shirts are lighter, cheaper per unit and better for daily wear in most workplaces, with several flat placements to work with. Hoodies give you the back panel and the weight to carry large decoration. A program running both should keep the chest decoration consistent across the two and treat the hoodie back as an addition rather than a separate design.

vs. Custom caps
Opposite ends of the same range. A cap front is the tightest placement we work with, on a small curved panel; a hoodie back is the largest flat area in supplied apparel. If a program uses both, design for the cap first, because a mark that survives a cap front will scale up comfortably and the reverse is rarely true.
