On this page we supply the cap and decorate it, and you receive a finished piece of headwear. That is the difference between this page and hat patches, where you already own the caps and buy the badge alone. Deciding which of the two you want is the first question, and it changes the lead time, the approvals and the quote.
Decoration is where the choices are. A leather or leatherette badge debossed or engraved, raised 3D puff lettering, a flat woven or embroidered patch, or a molded badge. Each sits differently on a curved front panel, and each holds a different amount of detail. The cap style and the decoration are chosen together rather than in sequence, because a decoration that suits a structured six-panel can be wrong on an unstructured one.
What we confirm for your order rather than publish is the blank itself: which cap styles are available, in what colors, and where they come from. Decoration happens in-house across our four US production houses. The blanks are sourced, and we are not going to imply otherwise. If you have an origin requirement covering the whole finished cap, tell us and we will answer for your specific order.

vs. Hat patches on your own caps
If you already have the caps, or you are sourcing them elsewhere, you want the patch rather than the finished hat. That is a shorter order with no blank to source, and you keep control of the headwear. If you want a ready-to-sell or ready-to-issue cap, this page is the right one. Deciding which at the start saves the most time.

vs. Custom shirts
The same supplied-and-decorated model applied to a different garment. Shirts give you far more room for decoration and a size breakdown to manage; caps are one size problem fewer and one placement constraint more. Programs that need both usually order them together so the decoration matches across the two.

vs. Custom hoodies
Hoodies are the large-format end of supplied apparel: room for a full back panel or chenille lettering, and a heavier garment to carry it. Caps are the opposite constraint, with a small curved panel and decoration chosen to sit on it. A program using both should plan the decoration for the cap first, since it is the tighter constraint.
